It’s easy to appreciate anything from Porsche Design’s catalog, whether it’s the sporty leather jackets or iconic chronograph watches. Another key element in its lengthy portfolio is its variety of uber-sleek sunglasses, with its Hexagon series serving as a perfect showcase of the manufacturer’s prowess.

Porsche Design’s Hexagon Series of sunglasses first came about two years ago, boasting elements from its parent company’s 911 GT3 engine block in the form of its exposed hexagonal screws. Now, PD has unveiled two new styles in the Hexagon Series that it has labeled a “reinterpretation of the unique Iconic Hexagon 2020.” The more notable of the two is the aviator-like P’8937, which features square-shaped lenses and comes available in a quartet of color palettes. This model has already taken home a German Design Award 2022 for its stunning form.

Also new is the P’8938, which boasts a more traditional take on the aviator with its teardrop-shaped lenses. It, too, is available in four different colors, and like its sibling, it boasts a milled titanium frame construction that’s screwed in by hand and accompanied by ultra-lightweight RXP temples. Both new models also utilize Porsche Design’s patented VISION DRIVE polarized lens tech for perfect, glare-free vision in all conditions.

Both of Porsche Design’s latest Hexagon series sunglasses, the P’8937 and the P’8938, are available now on the brand’s online store for the price of $610 each.
